Mumbai | Bengaluru: WeWork India has leased approximately 1.65 square feet across six floors of the Embassy Manyata NXT building in Bengaluru. The office of the new cooperating commander on the outer ring road will have more than 3,500 offices.
The building is nearly full and will be the first for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. The office is designed to meet the needs of organizations of any size, from corporations to entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), WeWork said in a statement.
“Bengaluru is the home of the first WeWork site and it has shown a great appetite for flexible workspaces.” Karan Virwani, CEO of WeWork India said, “In recent months, people have lacked human contact and spent time at work, and Manyata NXT considers the ideal way for people to get back to work. ".
Since entering the Indian market in 2017, WeWork has acquired more than 5 million square feet of land in 35 locations in NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, and Hyderabad.
