Rajasthan Minister Introduces 3 Housing Projects in Jaipur, 5 in Other Cities

Jhabar Singh Kharra, the Urban Development and Housing (UDH) Minister of Rajasthan, recently launched 3 new residential schemes by the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) and 5 Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) residential schemes. The schemes will help meet the growing demand of citizens for quality housing, and make homeownership more possible and affordable in Jaipur and other major cities of Rajasthan.

Overview of JDA Residential Projects

The Jaipur Development Authority has released three residential housing schemes called Ganga Vihar Housing Scheme, Yamuna Vihar Housing Scheme, and Saraswati Vihar Awasiya Yojna. Collectively, there will be 765 residential plots in these schemes at different price points.

Key Details of JDA Projects:

• Ganga Vihar Housing Scheme:
  Located near Bassi railway station, this scheme includes 233 plots, with the reserve rate set at ₹14,000 per sqm.
• Yamuna Vihar Housing Scheme:
  Near Chaksu, this scheme offers 232 plots priced at ₹15,500 per sqm as the reserve rate.
• Saraswati Vihar Awasiya Yojna:
  Situated in Daulatpura, the project has 300 plots with a reserve rate of ₹15,500 per sqm.

JDA Commissioner Anandi announced that applications for these plots will be accepted online from May 13 to June 12, with the allocation process conducted via lottery.

RHB Residential Schemes Expand Housing Opportunities

Alongside the JDA projects, the Rajasthan Housing Board launched five new residential schemes aimed at providing affordable and luxurious housing across Jaipur, Baran, Bundi, and Dholpur.

Highlights of RHB Residential Schemes:

• Gulmohar Apartment, Mansarovar, Jaipur:
  Featuring 160 HIG flats, each priced at ₹90.4 lakh.
• Ganga Apartment, Pratapnagar, Jaipur:
  Offering 80 HIG flats at ₹61.2 lakh.
• Gajanpura Yojna, Baran:
  This project includes 52 independent houses catering to different income groups, starting at ₹8 lakh.
• Lakheri Yojna, Bundi:
  Plans for 122 independent houses priced from ₹27.1 lakh.
• Bari Road Yojna, Dholpur:
  Comprising 13 independent houses with prices starting at ₹50 lakh.

RHB Commissioner Rashmi Sharma highlighted that a total of 427 homes or flats will be built under these five schemes, reflecting the state’s commitment to providing diverse housing options.
