Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia Unveils Upgraded Tezu Airport, Boosting Connectivity in Arunachal Pradesh

September 25, 2023: On September 24, 2023, Tezu Airport was officially opened by Jyotiraditya Scindia, the minister of civil aviation and steel, and Pema Khandu, the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh. The minister added that three direct routes — from Itanagar to Delhi, Jorahat, and Rupsi — will soon be operationalized as part of the government's UDAN 5.0 regional connectivity program.
