Kangana Ranaut’s bungalow in Mumbai’s Pali Hill up for sale

August 8, 2024: Kangana Ranaut's luxurious bungalow in Mumbai’s upscale Pali Hill is now listed for sale at Rs 40 crore. This property, which also serves as the office for her production company, Manikarnika Films, is situated on a 285 square meter plot and has a built-up area of 3,042 square feet. The bungalow, spread over three levels, includes a 500 square foot parking space.

A recent video tour by Code Estate on YouTube showcases the property's opulence. Designed by Shabnam Gupta, the office space features a wooden staircase, a large main workspace, an editing studio, a discussion area, and a conference room. The second floor houses a spacious meeting room, while the mezzanine level provides additional seating. The bungalow is furnished to evoke the charm of a Parisian café, with French doors, delicate sheer blinds, custom Rajasthan furniture, exposed ceiling beams, and green accents.

The bungalow drew significant attention in 2020 when the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) partially demolished it due to alleged illegal construction. The demolition, which affected parts of Kangana’s office in Pali Hill, Bandra (West), was halted midway after a Bombay High Court stay order on September 9, 2020. Kangana later filed a lawsuit against the BMC, initially seeking Rs 2 crore in compensation, but withdrew her claim in May 2023.
