Indian cricketer K L Rahul and his actor wife Athiya Shetty have purchased a Rs 20 crore apartment in Pali Hill, Bandra, as per documents accessed by IndexTap.com.
The property spans 3,350 sqft and occupies the second floor of Sandhu Palace Building, offering four parking spaces. They paid Rs 1.2 crore as stamp duty and Rs 30,000 as registration fees for the property, which was registered on July 15, 2024.
Sandhu Palace Building is an 18-storey structure that has received a partial occupation certificate from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Pali Hill in Bandra is renowned for housing many celebrities from the Indian film industry. Last year, late actor Dilip Kumar’s bungalow in Pali Hill underwent redevelopment. Actor Aamir Khan also owns properties in Pali Hill, including recent acquisitions in Bella Vista apartments. These buildings, part of Virgo Co-operative Housing Society, are slated for redevelopment later this year.
Actor Janhvi Kapoor, along with her sister Khushi Kapoor and father Boney Kapoor, resides in Kubelisque Building on Pali Hill Road.
