Haryana government to digitise property details of all cities

Chandigarh: Haryana Minister Anil Vij said on Wednesday that the state government aims to digitize real estate details for all cities. Vij, Minister of Housing and Local Urban Entities, said a survey of 88 urban entities on this issue is nearing completion. In the first phase, Vij said, real estate data for 9.25,000 from 40 cities were digitized. An official statement said, "Internet data for these properties are available with geographical marks, along with the owner's name, address, region, mobile phone number, category, identification number, and photo." Among other advantages, residents of these cities will be able to access the nearest landmark along with a picture, description, and photo of the drone they own, as it will be geo-tagged with one click on the property's complaint/objection portal, the tax administration system that the Minister inaugurated on Wednesday. He said obtaining property identification numbers in different cities would limit the practice of invalid registrations and control corrupt practices in relation to the area and class of property.
