June 28, 2024: On June 26, 2024, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) announced the cancellation of land allotments to Sunworld Infrastructure and Supertech Township near the upcoming Noida International Airport and proposed Film City due to unpaid dues. This decision was made during Yeida’s 81st board meeting, chaired by Yeida chairman Anil Kumar Sagar, at its Greater Noida office.

Approximately 100 acres of land were allotted to these developers for townships in Sector 22D along the Yamuna Expressway. According to Yeida, Sunworld Infrastructure owes Rs 164.86 crore, while Supertech Township owes Rs 137.28 crore.
