July 2, 2024: Bollywood actor Tamannaah Bhatia signed a lease for a commercial property in Mumbai's Juhu area at a monthly rate of Rs 18 lakh and mortgaged three residential units in Andheri West for Rs 7.84 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by Propstack, a real estate data analytics platform.
The 6,065-square-foot commercial property in Western Wind on Juhu Tara Road has been leased from Nanavati Construction for five years. The monthly rent will increase to Rs 20.16 lakh in the fourth year and Rs 20.96 lakh in the fifth year. The lease covers units on the ground floor and basement of the building. The agreement was registered on June 27, 2024, with a security deposit of Rs 72 lakh, and Bhatia paid Rs 2.9 lakh in stamp duty for the registration.
In a separate transaction, three flats on Veera Desai Road in Andheri West were mortgaged to Indian Bank for Rs 7.84 crore. This deal, registered on June 14, 2024, involved a stamp duty of Rs 4.7 lakh. The properties, located in Lokhandwala Complex in Andheri West, cover an area of 2,595 square feet.
