Yeida Plans to Launch Affordable Housing Scheme Near Noida International Airport

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) is set to launch a new affordable housing scheme, offering 6,500 residential plots near the Noida International Airport. 1. Plot Sizes and Pricing:
   - Small Plots: 6,000 plots of 30 square meters each, priced around Rs 8 lakh per plot.
   - Larger Plots: 500 plots ranging from 200 to 4,000 square meters, with rates approximately Rs 24,000 per square meter.

2. Location:
   - The plots will be available in sectors 17, 18, and 20, where Yeida had previously launched a plot scheme in 2008-09.

Addressing Past Issues:

Yeida officials are working to resolve past issues related to land possession in these sectors. Some farmers had refused to give up their land, resulting in writs filed in the Allahabad High Court, which delayed possession for several allottees. Yeida is actively resolving these disputes and has assured that the land for the new scheme is free from any such issues.

The scheme is expected to be launched in June or July, once all formalities are completed. All plot sizes will be allotted through a lucky draw, ensuring a fair and transparent process for all applicants.
