Out of the total 149 land parcels, 37 were designated for information technology, 12 for commercial use, 11 for group housing, and 89 for industrial purposes. Some big companies given land by the Authority are County Group, Godrej properties, Max Estates, IKEA, Uflex, Dixon, and Experion Developers.
Officials stated that the Noida Authority has sold 149 plots in FY24 and received investment commitments worth Rs 1.03 lakh crore from buyers for projects to be developed on the properties.
Plots were assigned to companies in various sectors such as housing, IT/ITES, industrial, and commercial. The authorities mentioned that the goal for the fiscal year was to secure investment pledges worth Rs 90,000 crore.
The Authority has prepared a report on the investment proposals received and those that were implemented in FY24 and has forwarded it to the Uttar Pradesh government. Officials state that the state government intends to soon conduct a groundbreaking ceremony in order to officially kick off these projects.
A senior official of the Authority stated that approximately 450 entrepreneurs have entered into MoUs with the UP government for investing in Noida over the past year. The Authority has given out 149 plots for 149 investment ideas in the 2023-24 financial year. Other investors will get land in the 'New Noida' area, which is still being built.
