PM Modi’s Gift to Varanasi: Laying of Foundation Stone of Various Projects worth Rs 10,000 cr

Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate projects worth Rs 10,000 crore in his Lok Sabha Constituency. He will address public meetings and launch several projects.

23 schemes worth Rs 10,972 will be launched on February 23, 2024. At the same time, he will lay the foundation stone of 12 projects worth Rs 2,195 crore.

Varanasi’s road map will witness development as the Prime Minister is all set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple road projects. It includes the four-lane Ghaghra-Bridge-Varanasi section of NH 233 and the four-lane of the Sultanpur-Varanasi section of the National Highway 56.

The four-lane Ghaghra Bridge Varanasi will reduce the travel time between Varanasi and Azamgarh by 1.5 hours. It will also provide an efficient route to other important state regions.

He will also lay the foundation for constructing the Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata Expressway Package-1.

Other projects that the Prime Minister will inaugurate include unveiling the statue of Sant Ravidas, HPCL LPG Bottling plant in Sewapuro, Banas Kashi Sankul Milk processing unit at UPSIDA Agro Park Karhkhiyaon and silk fabric printing common facility centre for weavers. In addition to this, PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Varanasi.

Tight security arrangements have been put in place for the PM’s visit. In the coming months, Lok Sabha Election 2024 will take place.
