On September 3rd, 2024, Omaxe Group unveiled their latest ambitious project, ‘The Omaxe State,’ poised to become India’s first-ever integrated 5-in-1 destination. Situated in Dwarka Sector 19-B, New Delhi, this groundbreaking development spans over 50.4 acres and will cater to sports, retail, hospitality, food, and cultural experiences all in one place. Developed in collaboration with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) under a public-private partnership (PPP) model, the project represents a significant investment of over Rs 2500 crore and is expected to be completed by 2027, with an estimated revenue generation of over Rs 4,200 crore during its lifecycle.
Key Highlights of The Omaxe State:
- World-Class Sports Facilities: The project will feature an international cricket-cum-football stadium built to ICC and FIFA standards, with a seating capacity of over 30,000. Additionally, a multi-sports indoor stadium accommodating 2,000 spectators will be part of the sports district.
- Five Distinct Districts: The Omaxe State is divided into five unique districts: the Sports District, the Shopping District, the Hospitality District, the Food District, and the Social District, ensuring a comprehensive experience for visitors.
- Innovative Food District: Inspired by London’s Covent Garden and Carnaby Street, the Food District will cover 5 lakh square feet, featuring over 40 fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, sports bars, food courts, rooftop restaurants, and banquet facilities.
- High-Street Retail Area: The project will include an air-conditioned high-street retail space with shop fronts extending over 4.2 km. With 75% of the retail space on the ground floor and additional spaces on the first floor, including a food court and a five-screen multiplex, the retail area is designed to provide an exceptional shopping experience.
- Exclusive Amenities: The complex will house an invite-only sports and leisure club, a 75,000 sqft E-Sports arena, and a hotel with 148 keys. Other facilities include a large banquet space with multi-level parking, an event arena for social and cultural events, and top-tier sports facilities for tennis, badminton, squash, basketball, and football.
