In a significant development, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is set to introduce penthouses and luxury apartments in Delhi as part of its largest housing scheme to date, as reported by the media. The properties, ranging in price from Rs 1.4 crore to Rs 5 crore, will include 1,100 luxury flats available through e-auction. These residences will encompass penthouses, super HIGs (High-Income Groups), and HIGs located in Dwarka 19B with a picturesque view of the DDA golf course. Additionally, the housing scheme will feature 316 and 647 DDA flats in Dwarka Sector 14 and Lok Nayak Puram, respectively.
On November 15, 2023, the DDA approved this expansive housing initiative during a meeting chaired by Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena, who also serves as the DDA chairman.
Under the DDA’s latest housing scheme, over 32,000 flats across different categories are on offer in various locations such as Dwarka, Loknayakpuram and Narela. The flats will be offered through two different modes – e-auction and First Come First Serve (FCFS) based on their location.

A total of 728 EWS flats in Sector 19B Dwarka, 316 LIG flats and 1008 EWS flats in Sector 14 Dwarka and 224 EWS flats in Loknayakpuram will be available. Over 28,000 flats at Narela across various categories will be offered through FCFS mode. The DDA flats in Narela will be offered in different phases.

The complete process from application to allotment and possession will be enabled through online mode at the DDA’s official website.
Interested applicants can book a flat in their preferred locality and floor by paying the booking amount. For this, one has to visit the DDA’s official website https://dda.gov.in/ and register by providing their PAN and other details. According to DDA, there is no criterion of owning any plot or house in Delhi for booking these flats.
